๐Ÿพ Coming Soon! ๐Ÿพ

Get ready to meet two incredible dogs who will be looking for their forever homes very soon! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿพ Pheobe is a beautiful 2-year-old Yellow Lab mix with the sweetest, gentlest soul. She's incredibly affectionate, loves being around people, and has lived happily with other dogs, cats, and children. Pheobe is truly the kind of dog who wins hearts wherever she goes!

๐Ÿพ Bluey is a 6-month-old Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain Dog mix with a heart as big as he is! While he's already a large boy, he's still very much a puppy and is looking for a family committed to providing the guidance, training, and structure he needs to grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. Because of his breeds and the instincts, they can bring, Bluey may thrive best on a more rural property, or larger house. He's great with other dogs, loves kids, and has met cats in the past.

These two Northern sweethearts will be available for adoption shortly, so keep an eye on our website for their full profiles and adoption details!

Please note: Bluey and Pheobe are not yet available for meet and greets. They will be posted on our website in the coming days and meet and greets will begin once their profiles are live. We appreciate your patience and can't wait to introduce them properly!

Meet Buttons! ๐Ÿพ

Buttons is ready to clock in! As a working cat, she's a natural hunter who would thrive on a barn, farm, warehouse, or other rural property where she can help keep rodents under control.

While Buttons is a very social cat, she's definitely more of a look, don't touch kind of gal. She's happiest doing her own thing and appreciates people who respect her space. Used to living in the great outdoors, Buttons is ready to become one of your star employees!

Working cat adoption fees are waived, though donations are always appreciated to help support the program. Adopters provide food, fresh water, shelter, and veterinary care as needed. Each working cat also goes home with a cozy feral cat shelter for $25 to help keep them warm and comfortable through the winter months.

With wildfires displacing families and their pets across the province, our transport team has been moving quickly to make room for animals in need of emergency shelter. Since Thursday, 53 dogs have safely transferred to Ontario SPCA and Humane Society centres across the province, including here in Orillia.

A huge thank you to our drivers, coordinators, and volunteers making these transfers happen โ€” including Provincial Animal Welfare Services, who supported a recent transfer of 18 dogs on July 28th.

Java's happily ever after is off to an amazing start! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿก

His family shared that he has been making progress every single day, and we couldn't be happier to hear it! He now eats all of his meals in one sitting and is doing wonderfully with house training, with only a few accidents along the way. He absolutely loves treats, enjoys going on hikes, is great in the car, and settles nicely in his crate.

They're also discovering which toys he enjoys most, and one thing is already clear, Java and his new brother, Ralph, have become the best of friends! They love playing together, and it's been so heartwarming to see him settling into family life.

We think it's safe to say that Java has found exactly where he was always meant to be, his forever home. ๐Ÿ’™

A huge thank you to Java's incredible adopter for opening your heart and home to him. Thank you for your patience, love, and commitment to helping him grow and succeed. It means the world to everyone who cared for Java during his time at the shelter to see him so happy, safe, and loved. Thank you for giving him the forever family he deserves, we are beyond grateful, and we wish you, Java, and Ralph a lifetime of happiness together!

It takes a community to make a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) for helping connect veterinary partners from across Ontario to support animals impacted by the ongoing wildfires.

Your leadership, collaboration and commitment have inspired an incredible network of clinics, organizations and professionals to come together when animals need us most. Every donation and every act of generosity is helping provide emergency care, shelter, supplies and hope to animals displaced by these devastating wildfires.

High-Paw to the clinics that are donating medical supplies and veterinary professionals across Ontario who are giving their time!

Together, we're showing the power of compassion in action. Thank you, OVMA, and thank you to every veterinary partner who has stepped up to help.

After more than 500 days of searching for her happy ending, Ivy has finally found her forever home!

Her wonderful new dad is incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated to giving Ivy the life she has always deserved. Her first night at home went so well, and she climbed right into bed like she had always belonged there.

Thank you so much to Ivyโ€™s new dad for choosing this beautiful girl and giving her the fresh start she has been waiting so patiently for. We know she is going to be loved beyond measure.

We are going to miss you so much, Ivy, but seeing you finally get the happy ending you deserved makes saying goodbye so much easier. Wishing you a lifetime of love, adventures, and cozy nights in bed! ๐Ÿ’™

Itโ€™s been a busy week in Northwestern Ontario as our teams work around the clock to support pets and people impacted by the wildfire.

So far, we've supported close to 1,000 animals through emergency veterinary care, animal transfers, emergency boarding, food distribution and community partnerships. We've also transferred 35 dogs and counting to Ontario SPCA and Humane Society animal centres across Southern Ontario to create emergency shelter capacity, provided care for 138 pets through free emergency veterinary clinics, and distributed approximately 25,000 pounds of pet food and emergency supplies communities and evacuees.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered or supported these efforts. Your compassion is making a real difference for animals and the families who love them.

The response is ongoing and help is still needed. Meet Buttons! ๐Ÿพ

If you're looking for a quiet, independent companion, Buttons might be the perfect match. This beautiful brown tabby has the sweetest little face and gentle, soulful eyes that are impossible not to fall in love with. She's the kind of cat who's happy simply sharing your home and bringing a calm presence to your day.

Buttons is a special girl who likes to take life at her own pace. She's naturally independent and isn't the type of cat who will immediately seek out attention or want to be the center of everything. That's exactly what makes her unique.

Her ideal home is with someone who understands that the best way to earn her trust is not to push it. In fact, Buttons thrives when she's given the freedom to simply be. Let her observe from a cozy spot, explore on her own schedule, and come to you when she's ready. She doesn't ask for much. She simply needs a peaceful environment and someone who respects her boundaries.

For the right person, there's something incredibly rewarding about sharing your home with a cat like Buttons. Watching her grow more comfortable, seeing her quiet confidence blossom, and knowing she's chosen to trust you are all moments worth waiting for.

If you appreciate cats for exactly who they are, not who you expect them to be, Buttons could be your perfect companion.

Meet Daisy ๐ŸŒผ

If you're looking for a best friend who will fill your days with love, adventure, and endless cuddles, Daisy might just be your perfect match. ๐Ÿ’™

At just 1ยฝ years old, this stunning mixed-breed girl has the kind of beauty that turns heads, but it's her loving heart that truly steals the show.

Daisy came to us from Northern Ontario in search of the forever family she's been dreaming of. Now she's patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is.

This sweet girl is happiest curled up beside you for bedtime snuggles, but she's always ready for her next adventure! She loves exploring the outdoors, splashing in the water, going for long walks, and riding in the car. Daisy is fully housetrained, crate trained, has wonderful manners around the home, and never says no to a good meal.

She's affectionate, eager to please, and wonderful with children, though she's still working on keeping all four paws on the ground when excitement takes over.

Daisy would thrive with an active family who will include her in all of life's adventures and continue helping her build confidence. While she can be selective with other dogs, we believe she'd be happiest as the only pet, where she can soak up all the love, attention, and cuddles she deserves.

Some dogs are unforgettable, and Daisy is one of them. She's ready to give her whole heart to the family lucky enough to call her their own. Could that be you? ๐Ÿพ

Are you looking for the snuggliest, sweetest cuddle buddy to ever exist? ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’™ Bruce is ready to fill that role.

This six-year-old sweetheart is happiest curled up beside his favourite person, soaking up gentle brushing, cozy naps, and all the love you have to give. If thereโ€™s an empty lap nearby, you can bet Bruce will find it, and donโ€™t be surprised if he rewards you by happily making biscuits on you while he settles in. ๐Ÿฅน

Bruce is living with diabetes, but heโ€™s thriving on a simple routine of daily insulin and a special diet. He takes it all in stride, and it doesnโ€™t stop him from being the affectionate, loving cat heโ€™s always been. Sadly, Bruce has had very little interest simply because of his diagnosis. He didnโ€™t choose to have diabetes, and it certainly doesnโ€™t make him any less deserving of a family. To help him find the home heโ€™s been waiting for, his adoption fee has been reduced to just $208.

Please help us show Bruce that his perfect person is still out there. Share his story, or better yet, come meet this incredible boy. We promise those ears and that heart are even more adorable in person. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™

If youโ€™re interested in Bruce, please reach out to us, weโ€™d love to hear from you!
