I don’t think I’ve ever properly introduced myself, so here it goes!

Hi, I’m Megan, the owner of Critter Sitter! 🐶 I’m a Victoria Harbour native who has been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember.

Growing up, I spent countless hours alongside my mom doing barn chores at a horse breeding farm. My love for animals started early, especially with small animals, and I began riding English at just six years old. My grandparents’ farm was home to cattle, and eventually our four horses joined them there as well.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, our family has cared for a wonderful mix of pets, including a rabbit who was with us for 11 years, guinea pigs, a hamster, a bearded dragon, long-haired and short-haired cats, two Chocolate Labs, a Golden Retriever, a Jack Russell Terrier, and a Mammut Bulldog. As my dad always liked to say, “The ark is full!” 😂

When I’m not caring for your pets, you’ll usually find me performing as a musician. I’ve been singing for over 10 years and play an Ovation guitar, which has a unique fiberglass body that creates a distinctive sound. If you ever see me performing around Simcoe County or beyond, I’d love for you to come by and say hello!

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your beloved pets. It truly means the world to me, and I look forward to meeting many more furry (and feathered, scaled, and fluffy!) family members in the future. ❤️
