We’re so proud to be celebrating 3 amazing years of serving the Orangeville and Mono dog community. From puppy's first groom to senior spa days, every wagging tail has meant the world to us.

‼️Pre-Orders Now Available‼️We have Community Cat insulated shelters available for sale at the Orangeville & District Animal Centre! They are $20 each and are ready for pickup starting June 3rd. Available as quantities last.

Cat overpopulation in Ontario is an ongoing issue, largely due to the lack of access to basic spay/neuter and wellness services. This unfortunate reality has led to a staggering number of feral cats across the province. To address this issue, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society has taken proactive steps, launching specialized program to help colony caretakers' manager feral cat populations.

One of the crucial ways we do this is by making these cat shelters available each winter. They help provide a safe, warm place for their colonies during our cold, harsh winters. To order your shelter today, give us a call at 519-942-3140 or send us an email at [email protected]

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Toronto Grooming Show! Along with taking some incredible continuing education seminars, I entered two model dogs into competition—one in Freestyle and one in Creative Grooming.

I’m thrilled to share that my Creative entry earned a 3rd place finish! Huge thank you to judge Lisa Hart (pictured with me) for the honor and for your inspiring seminars on Asian Fusion—I’ve already started putting your techniques into practice!

Tick & Flea Season Is Here!

We’re seeing a noticeable increase in ticks on dogs coming in for grooming — which means it’s time for pet parents to be extra vigilant!

Why it matters:
Ticks and fleas aren’t just annoying — they can transmit serious diseases like Lyme disease and cause skin irritation or even allergic reactions.

What you can do:
✔️ Use vet-recommended flea & tick preventatives
✔️ Check your pet thoroughly after outdoor play, especially in grassy or wooded areas
✔️ Keep your yard tidy to reduce tick habitats
✔️ Schedule regular grooming — we can often catch what you don’t see!

Your pet’s comfort and health come first. Let’s keep them protected this season!
