Tiny moments. That was all training really was.

Tiny moments stacked on top of each other until suddenly you had a horse that crossed rivers quietly or carried a beginner safely or loped soft circles under arena lights while music played overhead.

People only noticed the finished product.

Nobody saw the thousands of invisible decisions that built it.
