🚨 It's official — the 100 Mile House Lee Poncelet clinics are a GO!

⭐️ July 26 / 27 horsemanship / flag - $350 payment due now
⭐️ August 30 / 31 horsemanship / flag - 50% ($175) deposit due by July 15
⭐️ September 27 / 28 - details to come but must have prior cutting experience or attend either the July or August clinic to attend

🚨 SHOW CANCELLED – July 6th Performance Show 🚨

We’re so sorry to share that our July 6th General Performance Show at the Outrider Grounds has been cancelled.

We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who showed interest, or volunteered their time to put this together. Your ongoing support and enthusiasm mean the world to us 💛

While we’re disappointed to miss this one, we’re already working hard behind the scenes to bring you even more rewarding, fun, and educational shows in the future! From new incentives to fresh opportunities for riders to learn, grow, shine, and win! We can’t wait to keep building with you.

Lets get to know Marylou Barker, our amazing 2025 Ranch Show judge and clinician!!!

Marylou has spent her life around horses and livestock, and brings years of experience to the arena. She’s a recognized judge with BC Mountain Trail and certified through HCBC in both General Performance and Western disciplines.

Marylou has judged a wide variety of events across BC—from open shows and reining, to mountain trail, English flat, and jumpers. She’s passionate about helping riders grow, and brings a wealth of knowledge from years of hands-on experience, clinics, and seminars.

She’s shown a variety of breeds including Appaloosas and Quarter Horses, and has competed in everything from reining and Western dressage to ranch classes and mountain trail events. Whether she’s judging or mentoring, Marylou has a true gift for helping riders understand how to make the most out of their patterns and obstacles.

When she’s not judging, you’ll often find her working with youth and coaching in trail and horsemanship—bringing clarity, encouragement, and expertise to every rider she works with.

We look forward to having MaryLou at our Ranch event in 100 Mile August 9/10th!

We have an exciting opportunity to bring Lee Poncelet to our club for a series of 3 cutting focused clinics. The first 2 horsemanship and flag and if all goes according to plan - we will work cows in September. All experience levels welcome.

💰 $350 each - Horsemanship & Flag
💰 Cattle Clinic - to be determined

Clinic Format
Friday meet and greet, 4 hour session Saturday and another Sunday and everyone is encouraged to audit the other session each day. Includes dinner Saturday night!

A bit about Lee…
Lee has been a performance horse trainer for over 30 years using a fair, “common sense” approach and focusing on cutting, cow horse, colts and roping. He has competed at Canada’s Greatest Cow Horse, AQHA World Sun Circuit, is a multiple time money earner and buckle winner and multiple futurity and competition champion. He strives to help all levels of horsemanship and confirms to each individual horse and rider. Helping to make the most of their riding resulting in an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
