Availability, price changes and closing of books

First and foremost I want to thank the south Okanagan community and my customers for your endless support and love I receive from you every single day. It really means the world to me to be able to thrive in this community.

After many hours of deliberation I have decided to temporarily close my books to most new customers. As much as I would love to be able to groom everyone’s dogs I have to do what’s best for my current customers, my personal life and my business.

What this means; please find the section that applies to you 🫶🏼

Nail clients:
Everyone is welcome to contact me for nails. They are available through appointment only and it Is easiest to text for an appointment. Can usually accommodate Same day or next

Current customers and previous customer:
There will be no change for you. If you currently have a dog i groom or have brought me one in the past please feel free to text as usual to book your appointment. This includes any previous,current or new dogs you acquire in the future.

Bath only:
I will still be open for new clients for bath only when i have space in schedule. This is limited to single coated dogs and short double coated dogs (not applicable for dogs with matting, needing clipping or curly coated dogs)

Full grooms:
At this time I will not be accepting new full grooms on my roster. If you would like to get on a wait list for new clients please send an email to [email protected]
Please detail your dogs info and title it waitlist
If any of my very good clients have a family member moving here please contact me directly and I will be happy to accommodate on a trial basis if I have the time.

Price increase:
With rising costs of products, electricity and all around cost of living increasing I have held off as long as possible in increasing my prices to be able to be profitable and stay open.
Price increases will take effect Jan 1 2026 and will be between $5-10 a dog. If you have questions about your dogs cost increase please contact me directly. I wanted to give as much notice incase you need to make other arrangements for grooming your dog.
Seniors (65+) will not be increased until the following year as I understand they have a tighter budget then most.

Availability:
I will no longer be open most Fridays unless my schedule conflicts and I need to be closed another day of the week. I do have slightly longer hours now during the week to accommodate those in need.

Thank you for your time and again your endless support. I will be reassessing my books every few months and will update when I am able to take on new clientele again.

We’re seeking detailed oriented individuals with a passion for animals, ability to handles dogs of all sizes, & the ability to successfully multi-task/work quickly on their feet outside in the play yards and inside the kennel.
Kennel attendants are responsible for the overall care/well-being of our furry guests. Duties include:

🐾General care such as feeding, cleaning up poop/pee/vomit (Getting dirty is part of our job!), monitoring dog play groups and potty breaks, bringing dogs to and from suites to play area and cleaning up dog suites. Interacting with cats, cleaning cat houses.

🐾Interact with customers in a Friendly professional manner during dog and cat handovers.

🐾Maintain a clean & healthy environment (cleanliness of the entire facility including, boarding suites, laundry, dishes , reception areas and outside grounds.)

🚨🐾🚨 POSITIONS /SCHEDULE 🚨🐾🚨

We’re hiring Part time positions, Part time positions will have the opportunity to move to full time, if requested. Starting wage is $17.40 with work evaluations after 3 months.

Scheduling include, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts Include 10:30am-4pm or 5-9pm, Times can vary depending on the season.

🚨🐾🚨 Qualifications 🚨🐾🚨

🐕Prior experience with animal care or other related fields is preferred but not required.

🐶Ability to approach/accomplish tasks with thoroughness & accuracy is a must.

🐕Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner. Be able to handle a 3 pound dog up to 150 pound dog. Must also be okay handling cats and cleaning cat rooms.

🐶Ability to be on your feet, to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.

🐕 Must be okay with dogs&cats jumping/scratching you from excitement of being here.

🚨Due to high boarding volumes & to avoid disrupting the daily routine for our furry guests, we strongly discourage walk-in inquiries.🚨
