It’s been chilly here at the ranch 🥶

Here’s a few things we do here to keep the horses warm and healthy:

✔️ heated waters checked everyday. Horses typically will drink less water in the winter if it is cold water. Heated water will encourage them to drink more!
✔️ 24/7 salt to help with water intake
✔️ fed great quality hay
✔️ blanketing if a horse needs it
✔️ shelters with straw bedding
✔️ encourage movement by feeding at the other end of the field - they will walk down for water
✔️ and of course 24/7 eyes on them, with
overall checks on the herds few times daily!

Hi everyone!
At this time, I’ve limited the number of horses I take in to ensure the best possible care and attention for each client and horse. However, I currently have one spot available for a mare and one spot for a gelding. If you’re looking for a welcoming and safe environment for your horses, feel free to reach out!

What we have to offer,
- Auto waters ( heated in winter, and cleaned weekly in summer )
- Nice big shelter with straw
- Salt Blocks provided
- Fed home grown hay in winter 2x day, unless very cold then a hay feeder is set out
- Trailer parking
- Small barn to store tack and tack up in, with water and power
- 60’ round pen
- Large outdoor arena, barrels/poles and jumps are available to use
- Section of land to ride on

We have a small group of great clients, and herds. Absolutely no drama.
We have client BBQs and ride out to the brewery in summer. We also often haul out to trails/indoor arena’s so you can jump in.

As we truck though this cold weather, we are thankful for warm straw beds, good quality hay 24/7, and our heated water. Only a few more months till spring!!
