Happy Halloween!

Step three was to pull CIDRs and step four was to turn the ram out! We also threw a clean up buck out for the goatie girls and clearly that wasn’t a terrible idea.

👻🎃Riddle me this…👻🎃
Solve the riddle to figure out what the Hornbrook kids will be for Halloween!

A - I am a ring that requires no marriage, a wheel that cannot support a carriage. I have a center that cannot be touched, and a sweetness that is loved too much. What am I?

L - I am a specific sequence of letters. I start with a second-tier buzzing insect, follow with a personal pronoun, add a geometric intersection, transition to a traffic directive, and end with a circular shape. What am I?

Well when you start the process bright and early you must finish bright and early … step 2 of syncing the ewes estrumate!

For the guy who didn’t want chickens he sure was nice enough to let us use the old shingles I found in the shed to fix the coop roof… and do all the work! 🤪 well hopefully this keeps the girls a lot more comfortable.

A few of the girls are off …. That leaves us with 8 🤪🫠 while they are annoying at times this has been a rewarding little side quest.

🤔 of the week ….
What do you think is the #1 thing discouraging new comers to the world of horses? Why and how do we change your reason?

10/27/2026

Just started to snow again as we pulled up to check the horses still out on the pasture!
