This energetic and lovable girl is ready to find her forever home!

Sassy came to us through another organization, and while her past is a bit of a mystery, her bright personality shines through. She’s friendly, food-motivated, and loves being around people, especially if outdoor adventures are involved! 🐾

Sassy is a smart, active dog who enjoys exploring, playing with stuffies, and learning new things. She’s working on her house training and some food guarding, so she’s looking for an experienced, adult-only (or older teen) home that can keep up with her energy and continue her training journey.

She’d thrive in a home with a backyard and tall fence, and could possibly live with another well-matched dog. 🏡

Freckle's Happy Tail💙

If you’ve visited the shelter lately, you probably met Freckles! He was our friendly lobby greeter who never let anyone walk by without a warm hello. Freckles first came to us as a stray with a few health concerns, but after some TLC in a wonderful foster home, he bounced back beautifully. Once he was ready for adoption, his profile caught Olivia’s eye and now he’s off to his loving forever home!

Freckles will enjoy all the pets, treats, and roaming time his little heart desires. Thank you to everyone who helped care for this sweet boy during his journey with us, and a big congratulations to Olivia and Freckles on their happy new beginning!🐰

Field Call Friday! 🐿️

We received a call about a young squirrel found cold, dehydrated, and alone on a resident’s lawn. With an adult squirrel found deceased nearby, it was assumed this little one may have lost its mother and needed urgent help.

Thanks to the quick-thinking caller who safely contained the squirrel in a box until Animal Protection Services arrived, we were able to get this baby the care it needed.

The squirrel has since been transported to a licensed wildlife rehabber for specialized treatment and a second chance. 🌿✨

This handsome fellow is Bun Bun, a friendly, gentle rabbit who's looking for a home where he can shine.

He's the kind of bunny who will happily hop over to greet you, especially if you sit on the floor with him. He's not keen on being picked up, but he absolutely loves pets, brushing, and calm companionship. When he feels comfortable, he'll even hop right onto your lap for attention.

Bun Bun is also full of personality. One of his favorite activities is stacking cups, and he'll entertain himself and you with his playful curiosity. He would do best with someone who respects his boundaries, enjoys quiet moments, and appreciates a sweet, interactive rabbit.

Meet Gouda - A Little Shy, A Little Spicy, and a Whole Lot of Flavor! 🧀

Just like the cheese she's named after, Gouda is a kitten with a rich, layered personality. At first, she's a bit shy, keeping her distance while she quietly studies her surroundings. But once she feels safe, her curiosity starts to bubble up, she'll peek around corners, creep closer to see what you're doing, and observe the world with thoughtful little eyes.

Gouda is a delicate blend of sweet and sharp. She can become overstimulated with petting or fast movement, so she's looking for an adult-only home that understands she needs interactions served in small, gentle portions. She's still deciding how she feels about touch, often a bit hesitant, but she's much more confident when treats are involved, offer her a tasty bite and you'll see her melt just a little, like cheese warmed on toast.

Bo's Happy Tail!

Bo’s match sent us the sweetest update — and it’s safe to say this boy has settled in beautifully! From the moment he got home, Bo confidently explored every corner, showering his new person with head bunts, kisses, and endless belly-up cuddles. 💛

He’s a playful little hunter, proudly strutting around after “catching” his toys, and he follows his person everywhere… including bedtime, where he snuggles every night!

His adopter, Mackenzie, shared how grateful she is for Bo, and how impressed she was with our thorough adoption process — something that means the world to us. ❤️
