Hi 👋🏻 ~ it’s been a while & i wanted to pop on here to give people who still follow this account a little update!

It’ll be an entire year as of tomorrow, that I had to lay my beautiful BeauDog to rest. This past year has been a tumultuously disrupted & difficult year for me without him by my side. Grieving his loss has been heartbreaking for me. Especially when trying to manage this account. I simply could not even come to this page and not start balling my eyes out, and therefore not being able to post anything…avoiding it. Feeling the void in my chest, and what now felt like a burden to uphold for whatever reason… I have tried countless times to keep this little passion project moving along on my own, and losing him this past year has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to process. I still grieve him daily. He was truly a part of my soul. My boy.

As someone who doesn’t have children to love up on, and to love me in return, he truly embodied that role for me. I am forever grateful for what he gave me in my life. So much purity, love, humour, and a bond that will never be replaced or forgotten.

I have come to the final conclusion that as of December 31st, 2026 will be my LAST YEAR in business with Handsome Mountain.

This small business has carried me through so many years! So much growth & passion. It’s been TWELVE YEARS!!
I am immensely grateful for every single person who has supported me along the way, shown up to markets all over BC, sent me photos from around the world of their Handsome Mountain items on their pups and snuggled in their dog beds, anyone who’s worked alongside me, anyone that I’ve collaborated with over the many years, anyone who’s lended a helping hand, to every single purchaser who chose to support a small business, to every storefront I’ve ever done business with, to the magazines who featured me, to the local news for showcasing me on live air, and everything in between — y’all have really made me feel like what I created with my own two hands and have put out into the world has been enjoyed and loved with your furry companion the way I intended them to be 🥹❣️🐕
