Our hearts are heavy this week as we say goodbye to a longtime friend, Rolo.

Rolo has been part of our daycare family for many, many years. He was one of those dogs who simply become a part of the place, every single dog loved him, and every single person who met him did too. We loved him so, so, so deeply.

It’s hard to imagine the space without our sweet old man, and even harder to grasp the immense loss left in his family’s life. You could feel how deeply they loved each other, Rolo was cherished, and it showed in every part of him. Sixteen and a half years of love and companionship is a beautiful legacy, and we feel so honoured to have been a small part of it.

We’ll carry Rolo in our hearts, always.

Rolo, we hope heaven has all the forbidden food you always tried (and, from what your mom told us, very often managed) to steal. Thank you for everything, sweet boy 🤍
