Hello hello! Welcome to a new feature I wanted to try out to let everyone get to know us a little better!
Starting with myself! I could have had approximately 8000 pictures of me with your dogs, but I had to narrow it down a bit LOL

Name: Laura
Position: Manager
When did you start? September of 2022
What made you want to work with animals? I have always loved animals, dogs especially. I went to school for vet assisting, and worked at the vet for a bit before coming here. I wasn’t always sure exactly what i wanted to do, but this has been my favourite job by far 🥹🐾
Do you have any pets of your own? I have a bunch! I have 3 dogs of my own, Rubie, Spike, and Mia. Most of you have met Rubie by now. I also have 2 cats - Kippee, & her son, Crowley, a turtle - Michelangelo (of course), our snake - Roger, and lastly, a betta sorority tank!
What is your favourite part of the job? The connections I’ve made with both the dogs, and the owners
What breed has your heart? Rottweilers, or Pyrenees
What is your favourite daycare memory? The first time Miss Millie fell asleep with her head on my shoulder
What is something that you wish for every dog that walks through the doors of K9 Country Cottage? To have a happy and relaxing experience with us, and to leave here with some new doggy friends. I love hearing about dogs running into their friends in public!
Which daycare dog are you convinced is secretly a person? Joey. You can not tell me he does not understand every single word I am saying. Plus, he smiles at me when I see him, very human LOL
