Our Canine Principles graduates built a strong foundation in focus, calmness around distractions, and clear communication—skills that make everyday life with their dogs more enjoyable and stress-free. 🐾

Meanwhile, our Heeling Skills graduates refined their teamwork, mastering position, loose-leash walking, turns, halts, and check-ins to keep walks smooth and connected, even in busy environments. 🚶‍♂️🐕

What a weekend for our Dog Geeks family!

🥏 Eric and Marvin and Rebecca and Temple of Doom hit the field at a Disc Dog competition, and not only did they bring home some serious hardware, they also brought their best team spirit.

Marvin wowed the crowd with his skills, earning first place in multiple events 🏆. A minor injury meant we pulled him from the remainder of the trial, but that didn’t stop him from staying to cheer Temple on from the sidelines. Temple of Doom impressed with fantastic throws and catches, earning 2nd and 3rd place finishes 🏅.

Beyond the podiums, it was all about cheering each other on, celebrating every great catch, and sharing the joy of playing the sport they love. We’re so proud of both teams for their hard work, sportsmanship, and the fun they brought to the field.

Neutral doesn’t mean ignored — it means choosing calm amidst the action. 🧘‍♂️🐾

While we taught class, our dogs relaxed quietly in the back of our Jeeps — not because they were tired, but because they’ve learned to settle even when exciting things are happening around them.

This kind of neutrality takes practice. Our dogs often attend classes as calm role models, helping others build confidence, focus, and emotional control. 💪

Training isn’t just about following cues — it’s about helping dogs feel comfortable anywhere. 🚗🧠
