Hi everyone hope you had a good summer.
October 9th Alex Dillabough Center in Battleford we will be having our Annual General Meeting. Up for discussion will be the future of the club. If the club is disbanded we will have to vote on what to do with the assets and bank account. Hope to see many people, with ideas and interests.

As of the meeting last night, the BQHC will continue until October, when we will have a General Meeting to decide on the road the club will take. We have some things to finish in this fiscal year, ie: penning/sorting Tuesday night, and the Terry Fox ride in September on the 14th, (time and place is not yet determined, ) we will send out this info when finalized. We will not have anymore meetings of the club until the 2nd Thursday of October which is the 9th of October at 7pm at the Alex Dillabough Center in Battleford.
The club would like to thank everyone for your support through the years, and the great volunteers we have had. Some History of the club that got passed to me at the meeting is the BQHC was started in 1969, the club has done well to survive and change to meet the needs of our riders, and members. A big THANK YOU goes out to Karen Ulmer who has always made sure we had our t's crossed and our i's dotted in regards to insurance, etc. etc. thanks so very much. And Sunshine Stables THANK YOU for everything you have done and continue to do for the Club.
Now to some fun things, since the penning/sorting is almost over this is your invitation to come join us on the Tuesday night(just 2 left). On the last night we will have chili on a bun, some meat trays, etc. and if you come asking that people bring some SWEETS!!!! or extras!!! to go with the meal, and we will have a great social after the penning/sorting is over for the evening and the winter season!! Bring friends and family to watch and or ride, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy food and fun, Sunshine always has the coffee on.
See you all down the road have a great Spring, Summer and see you in the fall.

ATTENTION!!
The next meeting of the above is on Thursday March 13, 2025 at 7pm at the Alex Dillabough Centre in Battleford. The club must have a full executive in place for the non-profit status. If we are not able to set the executive in place the club will have not choice but to close. The position which must be filled are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership and Activities Chair. I hope I have not forgotten a position, but think about this please, and if you have an interest please come to the meeting. I know the club is not as active as it was for years, so maybe it is time to say Good Bye, and decide as a club where to best donate our Assets. Hopefully we will have some interest and see you all down the road. Shirley

There will be no meeting tonight for the Club, as too many are sick, and under the weather. Please pass this on, Pat has cancelled the room with the Town, we will meet again on the 2nd Thursday in February at 7pm, see you all there with great ideas for the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Shirley

The penning for tonight the 17th has been cancelled due to the wind chill. On the 24th we will not be penning/sorting. On the 31st New Years eve. we will be penning/sorting and the club will be suppling some meat, buns, cheese for you all to enjoy, please bring out family, friends, and enjoy riding, penning/sorting, or just sit up stairs and watch!!!! Bring some other snackies if you wish-coffee will be on.
