Meet KC – A Special Girl with a Big Heart
🌟1-1.5 years old • 25lbs • Shepherd Mix • Female 🌟

KC may have had a rough start, but she hasn’t let that dim her bright spirit. This tan and white beauty was only 3 months old when she was tragically run over by an oil truck in a field in Kuwait. Left alone and injured, she waited until a kind-hearted engineer came to her rescue. At the hospital, vets discovered a spinal fracture that left her unable to walk. But KC never gave up – and neither did we.

Now, KC zips around in her custom wheelchair and doesn’t let her mobility challenges slow her down! She’s medium energy, gentle, loving, and incredibly smart. She adores adults, kids, dogs, and even calm cats. Whether she’s socializing at the dog hotel or soaking up attention during her care, KC is always full of love and gratitude.

KC comes with a large buggy stroller, a small stroller playpen, and a quad wheelchair

KC is looking for a special family with the patience and heart to care for a wheelchair pup. A home with a yard would make her life easier. She might not be the best fit for an apartment, but she’ll be the best fit for someone looking for a loyal, courageous companion.

KC has known hardship, but she still believes in love. Could you be her forever family?

Learn how to take care of your dog in an emergency!

🚨 We’re excited to be offering a canine first aid and CPR course.

Join us on April 5th. 🐾
This hands-on workshop is designed for dog owners, trainers, and pet professionals who want to be prepared for emergencies involving their canine companions. You will be learning from the top canine first aid instructors in North America, ensuring you gain the most up-to-date and practical knowledge.

Here’s what you’ll learn and experience during the workshop:

* Prevention Techniques: Identify common household plants toxic to dogs and understand which human medications are harmful to them.
* Basic Canine Care: Learn about nutrition, exercise, and dental care to keep your dog healthy.
* Digestive Emergencies: How to recognize and address issues like bloating or vomiting that require immediate attention.
* Creating Emergency Tools: Hands-on practice making your own Elizabethan collar and emergency muzzle (even the calmest dog can act aggressively when injured or frightened).
* Immediate Response Skills: Learn how to act in critical situations—when your dog’s heart stops, is choking, has ingested poison, or has been injured in an accident and needs to be stabilized for transport to the vet.
* Real-Life Scenarios: Practice various emergency scenarios to build muscle memory so that when an emergency happens, you’ll be ready to respond instinctively and confidently.

Participants will receive a 3-year wall certificate, a wallet-size card, and a 130-page Health and First Aid Quick Reference Manual to keep as a vital resource.

Hi, my name is Chloe!

I’m a spunky, energetic, unspayed 60lb 3 year old American Bulldog/ Boston Terrier cross looking for the perfect forever home.

My current mom and dad have put a lot of work into me (there’s still more to be done, but I’m eager to please).

I love my walks but be on alert because if I see a squirrel before you do I’ll be sure to let you, the entire neighborhood and the neighbouring neighborhood know that it’s there! I do require a prong collar to help keep me from pulling (I’m working on this and I’ve come a long way!)

I need a home with a fenced in yard but don’t let that fool you. I still need to have someone out with me as I will jump the fence to go after those pesky squirrels! I also need to be the only pet in the house.
