Getting a cat was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and Purrdy has been the sweetest addition to our little fur family. She’s calm, gentle, affectionate, and so full of love. It honestly feels like she was meant to be here with us.
Purrdy adores morning and evening snuggles. She sleeps by my side all night, and if she could crawl right into my skin, she probably would. She also has a playful side. She loves to stir up chaos by getting Sprout to chase her, but when it comes to Melvin, she switches gears and becomes sweet and affectionate. Just before this photo was taken, she was grooming him, and he was soaking up every second.
One of the things I love most about Purrdy is her bravery. She isn’t a scaredy cat. She adapts quickly to new situations, isn’t fazed by loud noises or sudden movements, and greets new experiences with curiosity instead of fear. When I leave the house, she patiently waits by the door until I return, as if she’s counting the minutes until we’re reunited.
She’s also the definition of a polite housemate. She's never destructive, never knocking over vases or clawing furniture. She keeps her scratching to her posts, and she even brings her toys into my bed as little “presents.” I truly think she’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met.
For those who don’t know, Purrdy is a British Longhair, a breed known for their plush coats, round faces, and sweet temperaments. They’re calm, affectionate, and bond deeply with their humans, often following them from room to room like little shadows. Purrdy is all of that and more, and I honestly can’t imagine life without her.
