Customer question: I love your product Trouble Free! It’s worked wonders for my gelding. I started my mare on it recently to help her stay more level-headed for her 10-year-old rider. My question is, if I give the powder to her daily, can the paste be given to her before showing to help settle her nerves? If so, how much can be given and when?

KPP answer: Thank you for your message and sharing your feedback on Trouble Free. We love hearing these stories about how our products are helping keep our equine friends healthy and happy! There is no concern with giving the paste prior to showing when also using the powder daily. We recommend giving the paste approximately 2 hours before showing. This timeframe varies slightly between horses, so you might have to play around with it a little. But in general, the 2-hour mark works well. Plan to give 40cc (half a tube). Some people also give half a tube the night before, but since you’re giving the powder daily, there isn’t a need for this. Thank you for your business and trust in KPP.
