We had a great puppy playtime this morning! 4 littles well let’s be honest 3 littles and big 4 month old Rio.

A bit of a slow start but by the end of the hour we had PLAY! Way to go crew!!!

Big Wins for Little Hearts 🐾❤️

Today @ Moto-Vated Dog Training we had a socialization play date. Our two shy pups, Maisel and Ruby had their very first successful play date — and it was pure joy to watch. 🐶🐶

What started with cautious sniffs and nervous glances turned into tail wags, some ball chases, and some attempts at play 💕 These two are learning that the dog world — and each other — aren’t so scary after all.

Proud of these brave little buddies for stepping outside their comfort zones. Here’s to more happy tail wags and growing confidence! 🐕🐕‍🦺🌼

The crew here at Moto-Vated Dog Training wish everyone a
🇨🇦 HAPPY CANADA DAY.

Honouring Canada Day seems even more important this year. I am not actually out doing any celebrating- as I have a project for Moto’s Play Park! We are in desperate need of some shade, as our property is a fairly new build so there are no tall tree in the park offering much shade. So we are building a gazebo! 😳 now all I have to say is I’m a dog trainer and NOT a carpenter lol. This is our progress today! Wish me luck! 🍀

Everyone have an awesome day! Don’t forget to protect your animals from the fire works which will likely be happening later on tonight.

Some tips
-stay home with your dogs if you know they are scared (especially if you have a puppy)
-maybe too late for this one but thunder shirt work well for dogs who are fearful
-have the tv on to drown out the outside noise
-stay inside as much as possible and take your dogs out for a p*e ON A LEASH incase they bolt away.
-make sure they have their ID tags on incase they bolt off for whatever reason.

We started off kinda slow with our play session, but Tempi and Austin had a blast at a little Puppy PlayTime Session- part of KinderK9 and the Right Start Puppy Program.

Busy day at Moto-Vated Dog Training today! Plus we had some visitors for the Moto’s Play Park!

Chester and Maddy had a play date at the park! Thanks for bringing Maddy to try out the park.

Chloe having a run around in Moto’s Play Park this afternoon after her KinderK9 puppy class. We were actually trying to get her to bite our ankles to rectify the puppy biting but she decided running around was much more fun! 🤩

Chole and Tempi had their first Puppy PlayTime this evening.

Chole, started out strong, but turned shy once Tempi figured out it was playtime. Tempi as you can see loves the stuffies.

The most important thing you can do for your puppy is to socialize them. One of the bigger mistakes puppy parents make is they miss out on the very short critical time to socialize their puppies. Early socialization is so important in their early stages and helps greatly in their social skill, meeting other dogs, and builds confidence. They will also learn skills like bite inhibition and proper play etiquette, and of course, have fun!
