Lot #12, CR Judy Sue Rosewood, “Ghost”, a flashy 2017 buckskin AQHA mare, has been used for
various ranch tasks including sorting, branding, pasture doctoring, and moving pairs. She is a
comfortable height at 15.2. She works well on her own and is not troubled by having dogs around.
Additionally, she gets along well with other horses. She has natural, correct leads and changes
well with a smooth, ground-covering gait. “Ghost” has been ridden in an indoor arena and stalls
well in a box stall. She catches, leads and loads/trailers without difficulty but does tend to paw
when standing tied. However, this mare is quiet for shoeing/trimming. She is gentle and has a
good demeanor on the ground and under saddle even with a little time off.
On her papers, CR Judy Sue Rosewood is a great-granddaughter of Easter Gentleman,
a notable reining sire overall and prominent NRHA sire with over $270,000 in earning over
his lifetime. “Ghost” also is a great-granddaughter of Wilywood, of the Driftwood lineage,
who provides incredible versatility with proven genetics in working cow horse, rodeo, roping.
These genetics along with her various experiences will provide an easy transition into many directions.
