Endometritis is a significant cause of reduced fertility in broodmares and is commonly associated with impaired uterine clearance mechanisms.
Mares susceptible to persistent post-breeding endometritis (PPBE) are unable to resolve inflammation within the normal 48-hour window following breeding, increasing the risk of embryonic loss.
Settle® is indicated as an aid in the treatment of equine endometritis caused by Streptococcus zooepidemicus and may be administered as part of a veterinarian-directed reproductive management protocol.
