Happy New Year!!!
Got this lovely email this morning, very proud of Kaos:

Hi Linda,
It’s been a while since I’ve let you know how things are going with Kaos but I thought you might be interested in how he’s doing these days. In July 2023 we began looking after our 6 month old granddaughter on weekdays. Kaos adapted well to having a crawling baby and now toddler running around the house. He is amazingly gentle with her, follows her everywhere and especially loves hanging around her highchair at mealtimes! We’re very happy that they enjoy one another so much.
In March 2024 Kaos passed his evaluation with Ottawa Therapy Dogs and we are now a Pet Therapy Team at a local long-term care home. He knows when he’s going to “work” and is happy to wear his red bandana when we visit the residents at the home. He’s also been to a couple of other Ottawa Therapy Dog events where he’s had the opportunity to interact with children and young adults too. It’s still our plan to get him qualified to visit the kids at CHEO in 2025.
