Life is curious. I have been kicked out of my living arrangement with sh*tty circumstances to follow.
I was kicked out with 10 days notice for driving 11 kms an hour on a dirt rd in my jeep with a kid (my friend) who was struggling to emotionally regulate.
He’s autistic. His fav song playing - life is a highway- we “sing” (give it) as we let go of life stressors that can cause him to be violent to his mother.
Apparently, according to those who caused me to be needing a new home in 10 days have also made false claims about my character.
None of these people know my profession, who I am on any level but one person spread rumours for their own personal gain / benefit including saying I’m “illegal”.
I’m a permanent resident. Don’t worry. I’m legal lol
I’ve been quiet of late because
As I watch the total insanity of people doing everything they can to destroy another’s life, including calling the police on me.
What’s this got with dogs you may wonder….. I have been asked also recently why I’m obsessed with the truth.
Dogs live in truth. They aren’t as obsesssed as me about it. Cause their perception of truth does not necessarily correlate with what’s happening. Meaning they may perceive you as a theeat and try scare you away, but in fact there is no threat.
I live in the truth as much as I can. This means I look beyond my triggers your ideas or society’s expectations to see what the reality is.
The truth is one of the hardest parts of the healing process to swallow - when you move past your view of a person or situation, heal from it, you are left with what actually is.
This you can’t escape. You literally have to accept and surrender to sometimes a life long lie or belief.
This is what I call the truth.
The truth in the current situation in the dog world is a total failure to be realistic and respectful of who dogs are.
Dogs are (mostly) not supposed to be on human medications. Dogs have a language that is overlooked. Dogs are pressured to be more they can handle lacking understanding and ability to deal with situations creating reactions they pay for.
While my situation of rehoming couldn’t have been better. So many dogs have no where to go because humans lack the want to see THE truth.
THE truth is they are dogs. They have a language. They are expected to makes choices in a world they have no ability to know the consequences of their actions.
THE truth is, unless we create a new story, a community of individuals willing to stand for the truth that dogs are honest, clear, loving and bring let down by idealistic people dogs will continue to become disposable- even having Dr’s in this industry recommending death for behaviours that are factually created by their messaging. And almost always somewhat easily changed!
I can’t be euthanized and it’s time to look at “the” truth!
Not the perceptions of those who make money, who can’t think for themselves or for those choose idealism over dog!
Stand for What’s right. Stand for the truth. Not Truth that is only beneficial to a perception not questioned.
