For those who are new, welcome to Irie Shepherds. Each morning we take our dogs on a hike through the forested trails in our backyard on our 10 acre property in northern Ontario, or maybe down to the lake for a swim and some dock diving or perhaps we’ll relax in our spacious bakyard. Yes, we are one of those families who moved so we could give our dogs the life they deserved and boy was it worth

it! There’s nothing like reaching optimal dog mom status and even dog grandma status when we breed, whelp and raise German Shepherds. We are on our way to being as Holistic and organic with our dogs as possible while still ensuring proper growth and development. Soon we’ll be adding chicken, quail, rabbits and goats to name a few and not just for us, it’s for the dogs farm to table raw feeding (yes, we like to feed our dogs raw and yes we’re still currently on kibble). We have 6 German shepherds, Grundy, Auska, August, Juvia and our retirees grandma Irie and grandma Sansa including our 2 French bulldogs, Chandler and Willick. Our dogs are fed a balanced high quality diet food and even home made treats! The breeding squad are/will be OFA hip and elbow certified or pennhip’d along with being embark tested for any unwanted genetic traits. All of our puppies go home with their first set of vaccines, 4x dewormer, microchips, vet exam and a wonderful puppy package to help send them off on the right paw. Raising dogs is like folding a napkin there are many ways to achieve and it this is our way. I hope you’ll sit, stay and enjoy the treat! �

September has been a whirlwind and the official end of our breeding program. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me during this chapter, I couldn’t have done it without all of you. I’ve made some amazing connections over the years that I’ll cherish for a lifetime. As much as I’ll miss breeding, I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life and what that brings

As a final goodbye, I’d love to see all our past puppies. So please, comment a picture of you with your pooch or just your Irie Shepherds pup in the comments below!

He’s found a 🏡!

The LAST puppy ever! We still have this amazing black and long coat male looking for a family to spend the rest of the summer with. The price is greatly reduced for this last puppy as him finding a loving and caring home is my main priority. Come bring him home!

Originally I wasn’t going to lower the prices on the last litter, but I have decided to offer reduced pricing on all remaining puppies!

Feeling blue that this boy is still here. He has had a few homes fall through at no fault of his own. He is a blue and tan short coat male who will melt any heart and turn a frown upside down. He is full of s***k and personality. He loves to be outside, play in the grass and puppy pile with his siblings. Hope we can find this show stopper a home of his own this summer 🌞

How this cutie Patootie is still available is beyond me. This liver and tan short coat ball of cuddles is waiting for the right people to scoop him up. He is full of love and patience. He would love to be curled up on the couch and snooze the day away with his family. Pets, cuddles and snuggles are what he craves. A home with another pooch or a family to spoil him is on his wish list. Hopefully this sweet bolt can find a home soon 🐾

New day new puppy to show off. This available 9 week black and tan long coat girl is as sweet as sugar. She is the only available female remaining. Shes easy going, independent and an overall good girl. Shes definitely not shy and can hold her own with all her brothers. She gets along with other dogs, animals and people of all ages. She would love a home to call her own!

Let’s show off this handsome boy today. This sable long coat male is as cute as they come and has a personality to match. He is laid back and well mannered just like his dad Iroh. He would do well in any home environment, with children, people or as an only dog. His favourite past times are snoozes in the yard and getting under your feet. I may have a new favourite with this guy. 9 weeks old and ready for a family of his own to love and spoil him!
