If you've been in recently you may have noticed some new faces here at Uniacke Lakes Animal Hospital. We are so pleased to say that we have increased our staff by 5 people in less than a year!

We did also lose 3 people who both moved from the area, but their positions have been filled as well, meaning 8 newer faces here.

This is all becuase of this wonderful community being so welcoming to us and keeping us so busy, so thank you Mount Uniacke!

We recently had a photo shoot for all the new(ish) arrivals and their adorable pets. We will be introducting you officially to them over the next few weeks.

Recognize these marks? Poor Minnow was bitten by over 25 black flies!! These bites may look painful, but most dogs are completely unfazed by them.

If you see these lesions, don't panic. But always monitor for issues like hives, swollen eyes or muzzle, or weakess which could indicate a more severe reaction. If you are concerned, give us a call!!

Thank goodness black fly season is almost over!
