Looking for a quiet boy, then look no more, meet Tabby. Tabby is a quiet, timid type kitten but oh boy when he gets comfortable does he love to be petted. STill a kitten who we expect will adjust rapidly once he gets comfortable and feels good about being loved…out will come all that kitten fun and playfulness. Tabby was born in July 2025 and is looking forward to his first birthday with his forever family. TAbby is neutered, vaccinated and has been flea/parasite treated. If you would like more information on Tabby please private message the South Dundas Cat Rescue page. OH and did we mention he does not like to have his picture taken…hence the grumpy look.

MARCH 26 UPDATE: A MEET HAS BEEN ARRANGED WITH AN ADOPTION PENDING. Meet Mister Harry. A beautiful orange-colored tabby who is available for adoption through the South Dundas Cat Rescue. Harry is estimated at about 2 years of age. He is neutered and vaccinated and so looking forward to settling into his forever home. Harry is a quiet cat, who loves being petted and really enjoys being gently brushed. Harry was at a recent adoption event after which he didn’t feel well, so the Rescue temporarily removed him from adoption status…but he is back. He touched a lot of hearts at the adoption event and there was adoption interest…so if there is a family still interested in this young man, please private message The South Dundas Cat Rescue Page.

Talk about a beauty. Let’s talk about Cleo. At 4 years old, Cleo has settled into a very calm, loving lady. Her beautiful Calico coloring has a lot of black, which makes her very striking indeed….and she seems to know it. Cleo will be happy to be queen of the household…pampered and petted. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and has had her recent flea/parasite treatment…so she is more than ready for her new family and home. IF you would like more information on Cleo please private message our South Dundas page.

Please don’t wait until you have time, or the weather is warmer or when you have money or whatever…

Spay your cat now!
Find a way to come up with about 150$ and get your cat fixed. Reach out for help if you have a colony. Your colony WILL double in size within a year if you do nothing.
2-5 cats are WAY easier and cheaper to fix than a colony of 20+

Please don’t watch the colony grow and get mad at rescues for not helping when you have a huge colony you can’t afford to care for anymore.

TNR works!! Not ever cat can be indoors BUT every cat deserves to not be mating, fighting, hated by neighbours because of the spraying and fighting, have litter after litter, fight wounds festering for weeks/mobths. Help them now while there ant many, I beg you! šŸ™

If you wait until June I promise that every rescue will say they are bursting at the seems and can’t help.

Picture of little Nickel - had a cold since birth and stunted growth because of it. Still fighting the cold but finally putting on weight. He came to us at 2.7 lbs and about 6 months old. He’s now over 4 lbs!

Here till 4 pm! Come check out these cuties at the Wi******er Pet Valu ā¤ļøšŸ¾

Hi everyone! Thank you to everyone who has offered to do a temporary 2-3 week foster at the end of March early April, while the Rescue carries out a construction project. WE could still use more of you if there is anyone still considering…the more the merrier as they say. WE are getting together tonight to plan and organize…the placing of cat(s) kittens in which homes…transport etc. So those of you who are on the foster list will hear back from us over the next few days. Thank you so much everyone. IT is very much appreciated and it will help to get the work done faster and not stress the cats in our care.

South Dundas Cat Rescue

South Dundas Cat Rescue came about as the result of its founder’s love of cats. Helping one cat at a time in North & South Dundas and nearby communities...seeing to their medical needs and insuring that they are spayed/neutered before they go to a loving home is the Rescue’s mission. So many cats in need...the Rescue is always appreciative of $$$ donations to help with the medical and basic food/litter needs, foster homes to get these little lives off to a good start, food and litter donations, towelling, cat cages and carriers, cleaning supplies, cat toys...every little bit helps. If you would like to meet a cat, volunteer to help with fundraising, foster, or donate any of the above items, please message our page and we will be more than happy to make arrangements. The Rescue is located near Iroquois, Ontario.
