Hi all, anyone interested in putting rides on 1-2 semi retired horses. Both are wonderful horses that have had some time off and I’m just looking for help in putting some time into keeping them a bit more conditioned and happy.
1. Logan-gelding- early 20’s
Great roping horse and spent 4 years working dressage.
2. Shasta- mare early 20’s - working ranch horse, sorting, recreational ride.

Both horses have worked hard and now are not quite ready to be retired, but need some good exercise and contact with a human partner.

I’m looking for a couple good partners , competent riders for these 2 to help them along and keep them busy. These horses have been passed along to me and they are well cared for but I have my other main horses and do not have the time for riding and exercising these 2.

We are hiring for a Barn Manager!

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily horse care, including (but not limited to) feeding, turnout, stall cleaning, and health monitoring
• Coordinate veterinary, farrier, and other equine service appointments as needed
• Maintain facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality (arenas, paddocks, equipment, etc.)
• Communicate with boarders regarding horse care, facility updates, and service requests
• Track inventory and order supplies (feed, bedding, medical supplies)
• Implement and enforce barn policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Strong background in horse care and barn management
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-starter who is organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Comfortable handling horses of various temperaments
• Basic knowledge of equine health and emergency response
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
