LUCIEN ET BRUNO ONT RETROUVÉ LEUR FAMILLE

À la fin de 2023, un refuge pour personnes en situation d’itinérance nous a contactés pour que nous hébergions les chiens de deux de leurs usagers qui avaient beaucoup de mal à trouver un logement. Pour faciliter leurs démarches, nous avons confié Lucien et Bruno* à l’une de nos familles d’accueil. Les adorables toutous étaient assez âgés, et Lucien souffrait d’un problème dermatologique nécessitant un traitement antibiotique.

Durant leur séjour en hébergement spécial, Lucien et Bruno ont reçu tous les soins nécessaires. Après deux mois de recherches intensives, le couple a enfin déniché un logement, et notre patrouille lui a ramené ses deux chiens. Ce fut très émouvant de voir la famille entière de nouveau réunie!

At the end of 2023, we were approached by a shelter for people experiencing homelessness. They asked us to take in the dogs of two residents who were having a very hard time finding housing. To ease their burden, we entrusted Lucien and Bruno* to one of our foster families. The adorable pooches were quite old, and Lucien was suffering from a skin issue that needed antibiotic treatment.

During their special shelter stay, Lucien and Bruno received all the care they needed. After two months of intensive searching, their family finally found a new place to live, and our team reunited them with their two dogs. It was very moving to see the whole family back together again!

Larry est à la recherche d’une nouvelle famille !🩵

Larry recherche une famille connaissant bien la personnalité de sa race (ou des Hound en général). Comme il est vocal, il serait heureux à la campagne ou dans un quartier qui ne sera pas trop mouvementé. Il sera important de garder Larry sous contrôle afin d'éviter les fugues. Il faudra porter une attention particulière à l'entretien de sa peau et de ses oreilles. Larry aura besoin d'aller marcher en nature à chaque jour afin de pouvoir combler son besoin de renifler partout. Bien qu'il ait une approche très directe et pas toujours délicate avec les autres animaux, Larry pourrait cohabiter avec un autre chien sociable ou avec un chat qui est très habitué aux gros chiens plus brusques. Larry s'ennuie facilement et aura besoin de gens à la maison avec lui ou pouvant lui offrir la compagnie d'un autre chien. Larry recherche des gens patients (et ayant les poches pleines de biscuits) pour compléter son éducation!
