Showing a bit of how assessments go.

This is a dog who tried to bite me.
And he lunged at Choco as well.

This dog used to get attacked by stray dogs in India.
I wanted to see how he would interact with Choco.
Is a dog that has learned to be defensive.
You can see how he is with Choco.
And how Choco is avoiding any eye contact.
Or confrontation.
Choco is not scared of him.
He is just cautious because of how defensive this dog is.
It is interesting all the signs and subtleties happening in a interaction.
And how much it is there to learn.
Things that we all dog owners need to learn.

I can't imagine how this family do when they walk Nala.
The same day I assessed an American Bully and a Pitbull.
Piece of cake.
And I end up struggling with this one. 🤣
She has a such strong habit of reacting.
It took me a while to control her. 🤷
She is a like a Tasmanian devil.

Assessment with Maggie

She is an American Bully.
Described to me reactive to other animals.
Owners have not walked her much.
During the assessment.
She seemed to be quiet timid.
Unsure in different moments.
When we saw the reactive dog.
She actually was trying to escape.
Opposite to what owners told me.
She does when dogs bark at her.
As soon as she was taken out of her comfort zone.
What she usually knows.
She is just another dog.

By the way, the reactive dog on the video.
He almost dropped the owner. 😨
We had to go the opposite way.

Assessment of Walker

A handsome pit bull.
Look at those muscles. 😍
I walked him around different stimulus to see how he would respond.
To be honest, I thought he was going te more impulsive.
Because when I got to his place.
He was really excited.
But as soon as I started walking him.
And barely put uo some boundaries.
He just completely relaxed.
He didn't even care about Choco.
Even when he had the chance to interact with him.

Last video of the wild dogs and how smart they are.

One of the stories I got told once.

Was a guy who was hunting them set up a trap to attract the dogs.

He saw the pack approaching but what it seems to be the leader realised it was a trap.

And it didn't let any of the dogs get any closr to it.

And they left straight away. 🤯

And there people who think they bribe dogs with food. 🤣

No wonder why dogs outsmart them.
