Ho ho ho! It’s me, Krampus, under the tree.
Yep, this is my tree now. 🎄
I’ve inspected the lights (very bright), tested the branches (acceptable), and confirmed that all the presents are definitely for me. 🎁
The best gift of all, though? You! Whether you’ve liked, shared, donated, volunteered, fostered, or adopted, know that your support means the world to us all.
May your days be cozy, your treats plentiful, and your naps uninterrupted and glorious.
Meowy Christmas,
Krampus

Tube treats (Churu, Tiki Stix, etc.)
Wet and dry cat food
Wand toys
Medium cat trees

Anything else from our wish list!

ADOPTION UPDATE: Sergio (now Squid) was adopted from us in 2023 and has since been living his best life in his forever home. He is a silly guy who loves to snuggle and gets the craziest zoomies with his sister.
Thank you to his family for sending us an update on how he's settled in.

Zephyr and Clawdette Dion would love to be home for the holidays! Both of these lovely ladies are currently at FVHS and are available for a meet and greet.
Be sure to check out the rest of our adoptable cats on our Petfinder page linked here!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Giving Tuesday Matching Campaign! We are thrilled to share that we raised $10,100, which became an incredible $20,100 total with the match.
For those who have been following Wrigley’s story, you may know that a portion of these funds is going toward a rehabilitation package with a specialist for our sweet paraplegic kitten. We’ve now had our first appointment, and the specialists were very impressed with his reflexes! While Wrigley cannot feel his legs, he is learning to move them reflexively and is already practicing his spinal walking.
Check out a short clip from his first session below. Go Wrigley Go!

We are SO excited to share that The Eric S. Margolis Foundation has granted us $16,065 to install air circulation and A/C in our facility!
The cats (and the humans) are beyond grateful and looking forward to a cool, comfortable summer. The new filtration system will not only help cut down on those unavoidable shelter smells, but also ensure we’re meeting the highest standards of care for our feline residents.
Thank you to the Foundation for helping us give our animals the care and comfort they deserve. And a big shout-out to the Foundation for the incredible work they do for animals all across the country and beyond.

FVHS is a non profit charity in Mission, BC., founded in 1999. We are a feline only facility, and are independent from all other Humane Societies. Together with our valued Volunteers and knowledgable, local Veterinary support, we rehabilitate, house, feed, medicate and socialize all the cats in our care.
All of our cats and kittens receive Veterinary exams, series of deworming and flea treatments, are spayed/neutered, receive permanent identification (tattoo or microchip), are Viral tested (FeLV & FIV -), vaccinated, fed a high quality specific diet to their individual needs, socialized and receive TLC prior to becoming available for adoption.
Our Kitty Keepers are knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about what we do. Every feline has a different journey and to us, every adoption is a celebration!
All of our Adoptors receive a Personalized Folder with detailed information on your new family members history, including all veterinary care and treatments received. We have also carefully selected informative information on Feline Care, including such information as How to Integrate with other Family Members, Night time Trouble Makers, Toxic Plants, Signs of Illnesses, Benefits of Pet Insurance, how to receive your PetSmart $450 value booklet, and effective product information such as Feliway, flea control.
Our Take Home Package includes a small bag of Royal Canin food, RC coupons for food purchases (canned and dry), RC Cat Care Guide, 6 week trial of PetSecure Pet Insurance, and a Personal Belonging to help them transition into their new home.
Our Mission Statement
Together with our valued volunteers and the support of our local Veterinary Hospitals, we vow to be the voice for those who are unable to speak for themselves. At FVHS, we believe that educating our community with compassion and respect is an essential part of all that we do. We strive to provide high quality care in our facility and match each of our residents with furever, loving homes.
