Do you know me?

Female doodle-type found trotting up the side of hwy 542 by Lake Mindemoya. No microchip, no people in the area seem to know her. She will be at Scott Vet Services for safekeeping for now. Call 249 997 0097 if you know her.

Say hello to this beautiful senior lady, who is recovering from a bilateral enucleation (eye removal). After losing her vision in both eyes and suffering with intense pain from glaucoma, she is now experiencing relief from her discomfort. According to her owner, she is acting younger than she has in years and is back to playing with her toys again ☺️🥰. We are so happy to have given this gal a new lease on life!

As most of you are aware, Manitoulin and many areas on the north shore are experiencing an extended power outage and our answering service is now down as well. If you have a SMALL ANIMAL EMERGENCY, please call Dr. Roffel at 249-777-0098. If you have an EQUINE EMERGENCY, please call Dr. Stevens at 249-997-0097. Hopefully the hydro will be back on soon!

Scott Veterinary Services is thrilled to announce that Dr. Logan Roffel has now joined our team!

Dr. Roffel is a recent graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. After completing his veterinary externship with us last summer, he has joined us as a full-time associate. Logan is looking forward to meeting all of our companion animal clients (sorry, equine clients, you're still stuck with Dr. Stevens 😉).

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Roffel and his sidekick Charlie (pictured below)!

HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER UPDATE:

Bean would like to thank everyone who purchased Bean's Bites as part of our Pet Save Manitoulin/Manitoulin Pet Rescue holiday fundraiser. He is very excited to announce that his treat sales raised $400, which will be divided between the two rescues. Thank you to everyone for their support this holiday season!

Bean would also like to let everyone know that Bean's Bites continue to be available for sale at Scott Vet Services, as well as bags of freeze dried sweet potato treats (Schmee's Sweets) and mixed bags of liver and sweet potato (Schmee's Meats n' Sweets).
