To my loyal clients, you know who you are šŸ¤
Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, your homes, and your routines over the years.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to close this chapter.
My last day of walks will be Friday, May 29.

This business has been such a big part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the ones who truly supported me along the way.

Grateful for what this has been… and ready for what’s next.

More to come, but for now, thank you.šŸ¤

The start to the new year has been a mix of emotions. I’ve been quiet on here as I navigate a new path behind the scenes.
We are still here. We are still packing through the week, and these beautiful faces still brighten my days.

Here are some photos from the past 3 months.

Special thanks to & .and.strides for being part of those brighter days. šŸ¤

Always. šŸ¤

No one likes to talk about it, especially when we’re supposed to be grateful for everything we’ve built. So we smile through it. We keep going. We tell ourselves we’re fine. Even friends don’t always see what’s underneath.

The secret is out.

We don’t have to hide behind the work anymore. We don’t have to be the upbeat, bubbly pet care professional every single day.

It’s okay to say we’re tired.
It’s okay that not every day looks the same.
It’s okay if sometimes we’re just scraping by on heart and instinct.

To my fellow pet care pros, you give so much of yourself. Your body. Your energy. Your nervous system. Your weekends. Your quiet moments. You hold space for anxious dogs, aging pups, worried owners, and everyone else’s needs… often before your own.

I came here burned out.

And they stood beside me.
They came for connection, not perfection.
They met me exactly where I was, without asking for anything more.

This work can be heavy. But these moments are light.

If you’re in a season of exhaustion, I see you.
If you’re still showing up even when it feels hard, I see you.
You don’t have to pretend here.

Sometimes it’s not about fixing everything.
Sometimes it’s just about letting it be gentle.

And right now, that’s enough.🫶

Love is what brings people to dogs.
It’s not what teaches us how to care for them well.

Real care shows up in quieter ways —
knowing when to pause instead of push,
when to give space instead of affection,
when to keep things boring because boring feels safe.

Most of that isn’t obvious.
It doesn’t look impressive.
And it rarely looks like love in the moment.

If you work with dogs, you know this.
Over time, it’s what builds trust.
It’s what lets dogs relax, settle, and just be.

That’s the difference between loving dogs
and being responsible for them.

Most of what keeps dogs safe never looks dramatic.
It looks like routines.
Clear expectations.
Doing things the same way, every single time.

A lot of the structure in my work isn’t for convenience — it’s so the dogs don’t have to guess what’s coming next. When the people involved are consistent, the dogs can relax into the day instead of constantly adjusting.

That’s why I’m selective.
That’s why I don’t make exceptions on the fly.
That’s why ā€œnoā€ sometimes shows up quietly, long before anything goes wrong.

Good care isn’t reactive. It’s steady.
And the dogs feel the difference long before anyone else does.
