One year without you, and my heart still feels the space you left behind. I still cry every time I see a photo of you.
Grief is strange, it comes in waves. Some days it’s just a quiet shed of a tear and a soft smile at the memories. Other days it hits like a truck, heavy and sudden, to the point it feels hard to breathe.
But through all of it, loving you was worth it. Missing you is the price of having had something so special. You were more than a pet - you were family, comfort, and a little soul who made my days brighter.
