Meet Kevin!
Kevin is unfortunately looking for a new home.
As always I look for the best families that will be a forever loving home.
I have met Kevin a few times and he is an absolute sweetheart.
-3 yr old neutered and microchipped male
- dachshund/cane corso cross
-fully up to date on vaccinations and will be due again fall 2026
Here is a little write up from the current owners.
Kevin is a cute, lovable dog. He loves to work and is very motivated. He like to play fetch, he will sit, stay and shake a paw. He is working on his recall. Unfortunately, Kevin came with fear aggression and separation anxiety. As such he takes time to become acclimatized to new people and pets. Using a gentle leader and a slip collar he is much more controlled during walks. Kevin has been assessed and ideally he needs a structured environment with an individual or couple (cats not sure) that can focus on these needs and anticipate potential interactions well in advance. Kevin is crate trained, but has a hard time being separated for more than 1-2 hours at a time – he will bark or cry. He requires gentle lead or muzzle for vet visits. He has been sedated in the past for nail trimming.
He does not do well with low quality food, in particular chicken meal in high concentration. He is currently eating TLC.
He comes with crate, leash, bowls, food and whatever toys he has.
Kevin is used to being around a big family with large and small other dogs and is more suitable for a home with older kids above 10yrs old.
