Rockstar has sold and went to go live in Saskatchewan. It sounds like he will be a great fit for them and that he has a fantastic family where he will get to continue his career as an all around horse for ranching, team roping, and for the kids. I hope they love him as much as I do. He’s such a cool 4 year old that is so level headed and an old soul.

You’ll never catch me using AI for posters 👀. Here’s one more c**t starting clinic for 2026!
Coming soon I’ll also be adding a horsemanship clinic December 5-6.

Blessed to meet yet another absolutely incredible group of women. I loved how welcoming and engaged this clinic was. Ongoing discussions and involvement all around, and everyone was so good at applying what we were working on. The progress in all the horses was so noticeable!
There is already talk in the works about making Melville an annual stop- so I look forward to coming back in 2027- keep an eye out for that because it will fill up fast!

Hung out in Sask this weekend with an incredible group of 12 ladies for a horsemanship clinic. I had so much fun and so much learning and progress happened!

Healing my nervous system this winter. I’m not very far along into this journey but I’ve already noticed a handful of changes. Since slowly spending less time in fight or flight, some of my senses have become stronger and just my spatial awareness in general. It doesn’t feel like I’m looking at life through a foggy tube quite as much and I’m able to see or smell or hear things that I would have never been able to before.
This has made self care habits easier because I can actually see and notice and process the fact that I can make a tea, light a candle, brush my teeth etc.
The biggest challenge I’ve had so far by slowing down life again is that I spend so much more time scrolling. And that is bad for my mental health. So that’s something I will have to address with myself and make some adjustments with.
If you’ve gone through a similar healing process I’d love to hear what you noticed first for changes!

Winter haul in options! For both horses and dogs. Heated and insulated arena to keep you and your critters warm while you enjoy them. Come and get some saddle time, or play a game of fetch. A calendar link will be posted on my page (Amanda Rae Ventures) to put your name down when you plan to come so we don’t get horses and dogs over lapping.
Location is Rae of Hope Ranch on Google Maps

Counting down! Starting with number 3! This ranch rodeo season was my favorite one yet.

Welcome to Rae of Hope Trading post. Located at the end of my driveway, available to you! Take or leave something and enjoy!
All that I ask is (if possible) the horse books get returned once you use them so others can enjoy them as well since this is a horse facility. Anything else feel free to keep! I add new things as I go including tack or brushes I don’t use anymore, books, toys, kitchen stuff, and other odds and ends!

I think this mare might get a few same session before and after posts… I get her for a month of groundwork before starting her. And I think she’s going to need every minute of it. Big feelings but actually quite smart when she figures things out!
