Mr. Bear has started his training journey with us!

His first few days were all about getting comfortable and learning new skills and foundation. He was quite the nervous little guy in certain scenarios some boosting his confidence was also key.

After his first few days coming here, I then gave him his much-needed haircut! After two failed attempts at his previous groomers, he was absolutely perfect for me! After he understood, the groom was no threat to him he was fantastic.
Now he is also supporting a new look!

I am so proud of this little man and how far he has come. We still have a bit of progress to show, but this was the start of his recall training and handler focus. He is responding to his name and after only a few redirections, he is sitting and watching the handler.

Well done Bear Bear!! 🐻

Have a dog who is stellar at their basics but struggle to apply when distractions are present? Want to be able to sit at a patio and enjoy time with your dog? Having issues controlling your dog around guests?

6 month old Shadow has come such a long way with his impulse control training! He can now be trusted on place, no leash or redirections needed, with my rabbit Otis and cats walking around freely. He is handler focussed and now knows there is a time and place for interactions.

We spent a lot of time in the start of Shadow’s training redirecting his energy and introducing a calm zone for him. Once when he realized the value in place, it was much easier to introduce more stimulus and distractions with him. He was able to focus on his boundary and have more options in moments of confusion.

Cannot wait to see how this man matures. Well done Shadow 🥰

Im super proud of all our group lesson clients!

Every single one of these dogs have come such a long way with their training, and I cannot be more proud. They were all super reactive with one another when we first started training and also their leash skills needed a lot of work. Now here we are walking around town as a group, no reactions and all dogs walking well on leash!

Mr Shadow is doing an amazing job with his training program!

This happy go lucky pup has come a long way with his focus training and his recall around others. The fact I can recall him away from the other dogs is huge!

He has also done a great job around my cats and rabbit. I can trust him off the lead inside now and he is responding great to his ecollar communication. At 6 months old he is well on his way to a solid foundation.

Meadow, Wally and Remi have started their training journey with One Paw!
They have signed up for our 6 week training program and are well on their way to becoming better behaved dogs.
They can be quite pushy with guests and their leash skills need work. We have introduced leash pressure with the dogs and new boundaries to start and all three pups did fantastic!
Excited to see how they progress! ☺️

Bodie and Goose have passed their puppy course!

Both pups are well on their way to becoming well mannered dogs with stellar obedience. For their final lesson, we took a walk around town and went for a swim in the river as well. All of the puppies did amazing and also enjoyed the creek!

Drako has also started working as a demo dog in training in our puppy classes and was absolutely amazing as well for his first class with Bodie and Goose. We have taken him out after class before to meet the two dogs but this is his first time working with me through the entire class and he sat there and was focussed on me the whole time.

Bodie and Goose we’re working on multiple place commands around town as well along with commands in motion, and they did absolutely fantastic! I could not be more proud of these pups and excited to get started with their intermediate training.🥰🐾

This is a great class for dogs who are struggling to apply basic foundation skills, address problem behaviors such as barking lunging and excessive pulling on lead, introduce new foundation skills and to better communicate with your dog.
