💤🐾 LET’S TALK ABOUT DOWNTIME AT KENNEL-FREE DAYCARE!

One thing we think is important for our families to understand is that kennel-free doesn’t mean constant play all day! 💚

Our pups spend their days surrounded by friends, new smells, sounds and excitement. As much as they love it, it can be a LOT for their little brains and bodies!

😴 Why is downtime so important?

🐾 Helps prevent overstimulation and overtiredness.
🐾 Gives dogs a chance to decompress and recharge.
🐾 Helps prevent play from getting too wild when excitement levels rise.
🐾 Teaches dogs that it’s okay to slow down and relax!

Sometimes, an overtired dog doesn’t settle down on their own. They actually get MORE wound up! That’s why recognizing when our pups need a break is so important.

At TNT, our daycare days include a balance of play, enrichment, 1:1 time and downtime. Every dog is different, and we do our best to recognize what each pup needs. ❤️

Our goal isn’t to keep your dog busy every minute or send them home completely exhausted. It’s to give them a fun, balanced day where they can socialize, enjoy themselves AND get the rest they need.

Because kennel-free doesn’t mean nonstop play, and downtime is never wasted time! 🐶💤
