📸A New Chapter – Same Heart, New Focus 📸

It’s no secret that photography has been a passion of mine for many years (que the hundreds of grooming photos on this page). While this page began as a space to showcase my grooming work, I’m excited to share that it’s now evolving into something more—a place where I can blend my love for animals, people, and the beauty of our local area through the lens of a camera.

Yes, I’m just starting out professionally in photography, but I’m so excited to grow, learn, and bring you along for the journey as I explore this creative path. From candid pet portraits to family sessions and scenic captures, I can’t wait to show you what I see behind the camera. 🐶👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌿

You’ll also notice a name change on this page—what was once Jessie’s Canine Clips will now become Rocky Knoll Photography. This new name is deeply special to me, honoring my late grandfather, Jack Robinson, and his beloved Rocky Knoll Farm, a place that holds so many memories and inspiration.

Thank you for your continued support—it means everything. Here’s to new beginnings, meaningful memories, and capturing them all 📷

Goodbyes are hard! But this “goodbye” is more like a “see you around!”. I’ve been selfishly & quietly enjoying my snuggles behind the scenes these past two weeks. Kindly breaking the news to my pups once we’re done our final grooms together, but here’s a little peak at how most of them go 🥹.
It’s been an honour getting to know you all (and your dogs of course!) as your groomer.
A lot of you have been wondering where I’m going. I am pleased to announce that as of July 2nd, I will be the new Manager for the Midland OSPCA and PATH.
I’m really looking forward to connecting with and serving this fantastic community of ours in a new way while still sticking to my passion (animal care).
I invite you all to come by and fall in love with an animal in search of a home ♥️

It is with bittersweet emotions that I announce my “retirement” from grooming as of the end of June.
This is not what I thought 2024 had in the cards for me, but here we are!

I have been graced with an exciting opportunity for a career change that I am really thrilled about. After almost 15 years of professional grooming, 8 years of business ownership, and a total of 18 years in the animal industry, it’s time to combine those skills for my next chapter!
I will miss every single one of my grooming pups! SO MUCH. But I’m sure you’ll see me around at local community and animal events, just in non-grooming attire 🙂♥️. All the love to you guys, and thank you for being such amazing clients all these years!! ♥️

q: “who do you recommend grooming wise?”
a: check out Eddie Approved Grooming in Hillsdale! I’ve worked with her personally. She grooms one-on-one like I do, and is the KINDEST soul. And she knows how to find me for previous grooming notes!

q: “what about the teeth cleaning clinic on August 12th?”
a: it’s still on! Four spots left as well if anyone would like in!

Hello everyone!
A little update. My evening Nail Trim Clinics will no longer be happening. I’ve been seeing the majority of you during the day for your own individual appointments as of lately, so I’m going to shut down the clinic. Reach out if you’d like to book a nail trim for your dog, cat, small creatures, etc. ♥️ Still only $10!
