Rideau Breeze Stables Advanced FEEL®Certifed Equine Experiential Learning Coach/Facilitator and Home of Minis on the Move With the farm horses in her back yard were possible.

Kathy is an Equine Experiential Learning Facilitator, Transformational Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner, and writer. Her involvement with horses started as a teenager but did not really manifest itself fully later in life when she and her husband bought a farm. Her love of learning brought her down a path of becoming a student of riding, horsemanship, and stable management. She was particularly draw

n to dressage where she studied and competed for a time. Competition though was really not for her, it was the art of riding and the horse connection that she loved. As life challenges presented, a cancer diagnosis, the death of her mother, and her youngest son struggling with addiction, Kathy found herself simply going to the horses. Sitting on a rock, the horses would come and hold space. It was her therapy. She knew there was something profound about this. What was this feeling, this felt sense, this connection? Her curiosity and intuition lead her to a stable practicing equine assisted learning with children at risk. She became witness to a profound interaction with a beautiful elder mare and a young man. It became a sudden knowing or intuition that this was what she was supposed to be doing. She knew what it was. She knew what she needed to do. She quit her corporate job researched programs and became a student. She picked a program based on its attunement to mammalian emotions, science and spiritual influences on this profound connection. It is all about energy. She launched her practice in 2022. Kathy combines this work with other energy based modalities like Reiki, sound bathing, forest bathing, and yoga all done in partnership of horses and nature. She is also currently working on a book about a “Mothers Journey Through Adoption Addiction Finding Healing and Purpose through horses.”
Kathy resides with her Husband Jeff, 9 horses, and 2 dogs on her farm just south of Ottawa, Canada.

Our culture systematically severs our thinking from our being. That separation, that wound, is the over-arching lesson taught by our primary education system: our children are made to sit still and suppress the body’s energy (which is indistinguishable from its intelligence) while they fill their heads with the right answers. So it is that each of us learns and comes to believe that you can think more clearly if you contract your thinking into the head and segregate it from the body’s energy. Eventually you come to forget what it is to think with the whole of your being. When that contraction becomes normal, it creates imbalance in your thinking, your being and your life. To reconnect with the core of your being is to come home to your centre, and come back into balance. This ‘core’ is not the core of Pilates: it is an awakened centre of awareness deep in the pelvic bowl that thinks and perceives hand-in-hand with the mindful present. It expresses the unity of your thinking and your being. It is the still centre of your life: your truest source of clarity, strength and security.

A precious moment of presence and surrender during one of our Radical Wholeness workshops.

Your voice for nature!

✨️When life feels heavy with burnout, stress, or that never-ending mind chatter… you’re not alone.✨️

I’ve been there too, in times where the to-do lists were endless, my mind wouldn’t stop racing, and I felt caught in a cycle of overwhelm. For so long, I thought I just had to push through it. But what I really needed was a way to pause… to listen… to reconnect.
That’s when sound and vibration came in.

The moment I experienced the resonance of Tibetan bowls, I felt something shift. The tones seemed to bypass my overthinking mind and go straight into my body reminding me that it was safe to exhale. Safe to soften. Safe to just be.

Now, sound healing has become the tool I return to again and again. Not because life is suddenly perfect or stress-free, but because it gives me an anchor when things feel overwhelming. It helps quiet the noise, soothe the nervous system, and remind me of my own worth and inner voice.

And that’s why I share it with others. Because if you’ve ever felt caught in that same loop of stress, burnout, or self-doubt… sound can help you find your way back to balance, too.

What’s one thing you’d love to release or find relief from right now? Stress, overthinking, burnout, or something else? Share in the comments, you might be surprised how many others feel the same. 🌙
