Hey everyone, around 3am yesterday morning, my brothers (Ryan and family), house burned down. Thankfully, only my one nephew and the dog were home, and both made it out safely.

Janessa created this go fund me for them in hopes of helping them get back onto their feet while they find a new place to live and try to replace some of the things they’ve lost.

This knot is slightly different than the one I teach, but same concept. Use a Quick Release, not a slip knot to tie up your horse!

Thank you to everyone who dropped by at Redcliff Days and gave us all wishes on our move, and came to give the horses a good scratch! Seeing familiar faces and getting to know so many new ones, and watching the kids smile and giggle has always been the best part of doing these rides! Thank you Redcliff Days for inviting us again, we have sure loved doing this over the years!

This has been a hard post to write. After serving this community for over 21 years, we are closing our doors. Our family is moving away to start our next journey.

Before we leave in a month, we'd love to see everyone. We will be offering farewell pricing. $25/ person per hour, with groups of 3 or more. If you haven't had a chance to come enjoy riding with us, this is your last opportunity. For private or semi- private ride 25% off the listed prices on our website.
We will also be throwing a farewell party on July (Date to be determined yet) for those who wish to say their farewells to us and the horses.

We have gotten to love so many of you, it has been very hard on our hearts to make this decision. Thank you for your support over the years!

It took us a bit to go through all the fantastic names everyone shared, and after a lot of back and forth, Lara (Kym Cowley), you win the trail ride with the name Rocket. The kids are in love with that movie, and he's their favourite character! Rocket is already living up to his name, booking it around his pen 😊 He sure loves his cuddles too.
Hoku, Centauri, Chewy, Sitara, and Orion were also top contenders!

So Star decided to have her baby during the snow on Thursday. Unfortunately, baby was a dummy foal (you can check this out on Google) so in to the vet we went. Megan at Blue Sky Vet, (love her and her crew to bits!) Used the madigan squeeze on him (I'll share a link in another post). Had to tube him overnight, but he's back home and doing great!
