This doll loves attention, conversations, and following her humans around like the queen she is 👑. Rosie has a playful, curious spirit and has enjoyed the company of older kids. While she hasn’t lived with other cats before, she may be open to sharing her home with a calm, respectful feline friend. 🐱

She adores spending time with her humans but prefers to be the only animal in the home (because queens don’t share their thrones 😉👑). While she hasn’t met kids before, she may do well with older, respectful ones who can join her in playtime. 🧶

🐾 We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Medicine Hat College Service Dog and Canine Management Studies Program! 🐾

Each week, first-year students visit the shelter to:
✨ Spend time with our dogs
✨ Learn about different breeds
✨ Practice training techniques
✨ And of course, have some playtime fun!

It’s a win–win: the students gain valuable hands-on experience, and our shelter pups get extra love, socialization, and enrichment. 💕🐶

Started back in 1928, this week was created to honor the bond we share with dogs and to encourage better care, compassion, and education for all canines. Every dog deserves a good home, fair treatment, and plenty of love. 💕

💙 A HUGE thank you to everyone who came together to make our fundraiser BBQ such a success! We raised just shy of $2,400 for the animals in our care. 🐾

Elvis made his debut at MY96 today, he was a complete gentleman and we would expect nothing less from this guy.
Visit him at PetSmart as he will be hanging out there for the month of September.

This handsome orange tabby is ready to steal the spotlight - and your heart. Elvis Purrsley may have started out a little shy after being dumped with another male cat in Cypress County, but it didn't take long for his true personality to shine through. Now, he's proven to be a friendly, affectionate lovebug who would make a wonderful companion.

Elvis may be able to adjust to sharing his home with another calm feline, but his behavior with dogs and children is unknown. What we do know is that he's a certified "loveable squish" who's just waiting for his forever stage to perform on - right in your living room.

🌟 Thankful Thursday Shout Out! 🌟

A huge thank you to RONA for donating a de-humidifier for our dog room! 🐾🐶

This will come in handy all year round, as our rooms can sometimes get stuffy from the constant cleaning of kennels. Thanks to this generous donation, we can keep our pups’ space more comfortable — helping them stay clean, happy, and healthy! 💛

We’re so grateful for community support that makes life better for our dogs. 🐕💕

A HUGE thank you goes out to Eric and his friend for not only finding two giant tires but also installing them in our compound for the dogs to enjoy! 🐾🐶
How wonderful is that?! 💛

We’ve been wanting to add new toys and enrichment for our pups, and this was such a perfect surprise. The dogs are already having a blast climbing, sniffing, and playing around their new tires!

We are so grateful for kind people who help make our dogs’ days brighter. 🐕💕
