This baby needs your help!

Big thank you to Joanne Dishko for dropping everything and going to pick up this puppy while we were away on another emergency call for a female in heat.

The pup is now at the vet and we need your help to get it the medication it needs.

If you want to help the pup, please consider donating to us or our vet directly.

No dog should ever have to suffer like this. This puppy has been suffering likely since birth and will definitely not survive the winter without fur

Plot twist indeed…

Cody, the gentleman who offered to transport the blind dog to the rescue and fell in love with him during the two hour drive this way.

We met up with Cody and the dog (now Chevy) in Meadow Lake. Quite frankly it was easy to see how Chevy was already so bonded to Cody.

We have plans to neuter him September 9th. We got him a new fancy collar and leash, and with the money raised for Chevy we will be able to reduce his adoption fee to $0.

It’s people like you who restore our faith in humanity.
Chevy is going to be living in a cabin right on the water. Lucky dog 🫶🏼

Little Peter needs a foster home in the Meadow Lake or surrounding area until his neuter in September 8th.

Fosters get first dibs on adoptions

Peter is approximately 2 years old
Poodle x Chihuahua mix (guess)
7lbs full grown
Vaccinations started
Dewormed and treated for parasites

He’s a friendly little guy, Velcro type dog. Very nervous around other dogs and tries to hide.

You’re blind, you are a stray, no one to help you, dogs attacking you when you roam into their space, no one to help you find food.

We are so grateful to the family that has reached out to us. They have been making sure this blind dog is getting food everyday.

He bumps into houses, dogs, fences. They don’t think he has any sight in either of his eyes.

He needs to come into care. He is struggling now, and he won’t be able to survive in winter without shelter.

We are looking for some sponsors to help us bring him into care.
If we can raise $500 that will cover the cost of vetting him. Neuter, deworming, parasite treatment and hopefully a vet exam to see what’s going on with his eyes.

FRANKIE 🌭

Mama Frankie is available for adoption. The only thing she would eat when we moved her into a foster home was hot dogs, so naturally, we named her Frankie after a frankfurter. 🌭

Frankie is full grown, approximately 1-2 years old. She is 35lbs, and quite small.

She is good with dogs ✅
Good with cats 🐈 ✅
Amazing with kids ✅

She is a quiet girl, likes to lay on her dog bed most of the day. Always willing to work for treats (or hotdogs). Easy to train as she’s very food motivated.

She is house trained, crate trained, and has good house manners.
