Shout out to Wyatt from Trails Edge Charolais for picking 'VMN Nikita 1N' to add to his herd. I know with her pedigree both on the top & bottom she is going to grow into a really productive brood cow. I enjoyed visiting with Wyatt the couple times he was here, he strikes me as a young man who knows what he is looking for to advance his charolais program to the next level. Waiting on bales & these 2 struck a pose for me. Mother - Daughter. VMN 29H (Diamond W Premium 50E daughter) is raising a KAYR Commissioner heifer calf this year & VMN 3M (FTCC Bold Design 20G daughter) has a FLC Warlock heifer calf. Both the calves are showing potential to be in the top of the pen come fall.

Our Intermediate Heifer Calf Champion from Stockade RoundUp 2025 ' VMN Norma Jean 17N ' is heading to Manitoba. We're happy to see her go to Keera, a young lady who is building her charolais herd. It was nice meeting Keera & her dad, Will, who stopped in the other day (one of those icy road days) on their way back home. Thanks to Dwayne for sending them our way. Looking forward to hearing nothing but great things about this duo in the future. Thanks again Keera.

January 8 was a day of firsts around here ~ our first calf of the year, our first Warlock calf, out of a first calf heifer, first bull calf.

Some of the heifers & a couple cows that were exposed to our new herdsire Warlock this spring. Looking forward to these calves & all the others coming sired by Commissioner & Lincoln. Calving starts mid January, I can hardly wait it's the most exciting time of year!

The old girl along with the future commercial herd, hope they produce as good as her. In the spring we added some color to the farm & these heifers are on their way to being very productive cows. These heifers were out on swath grazing until November 20. Going to start calving mid January.
