A big thank you to Little Red’s wonderful family for trusting us with his dental care! ❤️🐱

Little Red came to us with severe dental disease that was causing pain and required multiple tooth extractions. We’re happy to report that his procedure went well, and he should be feeling much more comfortable now!

Dental disease is one of the most common health problems in cats, and because they often hide their pain, it can go unnoticed until it becomes advanced. Regular dental checkups can help catch problems early and keep our feline friends happy, healthy, and pain-free.

🦷 Not all dental disease is visible! 🐶

Gusgus came to Maxville Veterinary Clinic for a dental cleaning, but his dental X-rays revealed a hidden tooth root disease that couldn’t be seen during the oral exam alone.

Because we use dental X-rays as part of every dental procedure, we were able to diagnose the problem and safely extract the affected tooth, relieving Gus’s pain and preventing further infection.

Dental disease is one of the most common health problems in dogs and cats. Left untreated, it can cause chronic pain, infection, difficulty eating, and may even affect the heart, kidneys, and liver over time.

If your dog has bad breath, difficulty chewing, swollen gums, or hasn’t had a dental check-up in a while, it may be time to schedule a dental assessment.
