Sometimes, the best kind of vacation is a 'fur-long vacation' right at home. 🌿🐕 I've been a bit quiet online the last few days, and that's because I've been completely off duty and on 'pup time' with Carlie and Raj!

​This collage in perfectly sums up our time together: full of love, friendship, outdoor travel, and a healthy dose of doggy self-care. We spent our days tracking through the trees, exploring the open paths, and lounging in the yard whenever our paws needed a break. There is something so incredibly rewarding about getting to know their distinct personalities, watching them explore, and earning those sweet evening snuggles after a long day on the go.

​They brought so much life and laughter to my week, and I’m already missing the sound of those happy paws! 🩷🩵🐾

Vacation mode was in full swing for Miss Jade this weekend! ✈️🎒💖

​When dogs stay with me, I love making sure they get a mix of fun outdoor energy and peaceful downtime, and Jade truly got the best of both worlds. Our weekend lineup included:

🌲 Long, scenic trail walks where she could explore to her heart's content.

🪵 Beautiful boardwalk strolls (just look at that perfect fluffy tail wagging along!).

🦴 Plenty of cozy relaxation time inside, complete with her favorite treats and a comfortable spot to unwind.

​She has the sweetest temperament and the most infectious happy expression—it’s impossible not to smile when you're around her! Swipe through to see a few highlights from our wonderful weekend together. 📸✨

There is nothing quite like a beach walk to tire out a pair of happy pups! 🐾🏖️ Yesterday’s agenda included endless games of fetch, exploring the sand, and catching some fresh sea air.

Double the fluff, double the love! 🐾✨

​I always have the absolute best time visiting these two beautiful Bernese Mountain pups, Sully and Rosie. I had the opportunity to go to their place to walk them, and other days, walk and feed them their supper. It's never a dull moment with these two! 🤭

​They bring so much joy and big smiles every time. I hope you pups have a wonderful time with your dad, and I'll see you guys soon! 🩵🩷

Spoiling this sweet girl is my absolute favorite thing to do! 🥳💗

Yesterday we celebrated the wonderful Winnie’s birthday the only way I know how—with the ultimate day of fun! 🐾✨ We kicked things off with a trip to the pet store for some goodies, spent hours playing with her favorite toys, burned off some energy at the dog park, and wrapped up the perfect day with a relaxing evening walk and a little birthday treat🍦.

Happy belated birthday to one of my absolute favorites! Auntie loves you so much, sweet girl! 🎂👑

While Cocoa’s parents were away enjoying a beautiful, well-deserved getaway to Saint Pierre and Miquelon, this sweet girl had a busy itinerary of her very own right here! 🚢🇫🇷🐾

If you take a look at the collage in you can see that Cocoa didn't miss out on a single bit of fun. We made it our mission to turn her parents' vacation into the ultimate doggy staycation! We hit the local trails, conquered the boardwalks, soaked up the fresh air, and made sure there was plenty of time for playtime and treats. 🌲🎒

Getting the pleasure of taking care of this gorgeous girl for a few days was an absolute treat. She is the sweetest companion on the trails, always full of happy energy and ready for the next adventure. 🤎

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this collage of Dice says it all! 📸⚽️🎾

​I just wrapped up a wonderful two-week stay with this energetic superstar, and we had the ultimate fun-filled vacation. As you can see, Dice is a dog of many talents. We practiced his soccer skills, mastered the art of fetching the big orange ball, hung out with his favorite green ring, and squeezed in plenty of treats and cozy lounge time in between!

​There was never a dull moment with him around. He is so full of personality and charm, flashing that beautiful Aussie grin every time I pulled out a toy. Spending this extended time with him was such a treat, and watching him thrive, play, and completely make himself at home is exactly why I love what I do.

​Thank you to his amazing owner for letting me chaperone Dice for the last fortnight. He is truly the best boy, and he's welcome back for playtime anytime! 🙌🐾🩵

😍 I’m now offering guided bus tour experiences in partnership with Stagehead Tours — a company that has been connecting North American travellers to Saint Pierre and Miquelon for over a decade.

‼️ To be clear, this is NOT a walk-on bus service — I’ll be working directly as a tour guide, creating personalized, storytelling-driven experiences for their clients.

🤗 It was really important for me to partner with a company that supports my journey — especially my blog, which is at the heart of what I do: helping tourists truly connect with Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

Cooper’s weekly report card is in: A+ for being the absolute best boy! 📝✨

​We’ve had a blast switching things up this week with a customized schedule. Between the focused, individual attention of our one-on-one doggy daycare sessions and our solo walks, Cooper has shown he can handle it all with that signature Golden grin.

​I love being able to offer this kind of variety—it keeps his mind sharp and his tail wagging! Whether we were hitting the local trails to take in the lakeside views or just enjoying some quiet time in the fresh air, he was a natural at finding the best scenery and the best sniffing spots. 🌲☀️

​He’s heading home one very happy, very tuckered-out pup! It’s been a busy few days of fun, but seeing that big smile makes every single step worth it.
