Meadows Family Farm is a family owned and operated farm and petting farm in Maple Ridge, BC

What started out in 2015 as a few rabbits for the kids on Easter and a few chicks in the spring for our own fresh eggs, slowly grew into the idea of a small hobby farm and petting farm. As the demand for farm-fresh, free-range eggs grew, so did the number of our chickens and a few other animals such as goa

ts and sheep. Our pet chickens, bunnies, goats, and sheep started to attract attention from many people passing by, and after visiting many of the petting farms the lower mainland has to offer, we decided Maple Ridge needed one too, and we were going to build it. Our vision for the future is to continue to add to the farm to better the experience with things such as a pumpkin patch, flower/butterfly garden, and Christmas trees. Our hope is to create a place where families and friends can spend time together, have fun, experience a little bit of the farm life, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you so much to everyone who applied to be a vendor at our Sunflower Festival! 🌻

We were blown away by the number of applications and the incredible variety of local businesses that wanted to be part of the event.

Unfortunately, due to limited space, we were only able to select a certain number of vendors this year. This was not an easy decision, and we truly wish we could accommodate everyone who applied.

If you were selected, you will have already received an email from us today with the details.

To those who were not selected this time, please know we greatly appreciate your interest in Meadows Family Farm and hope you’ll consider applying for future events. We will keep your information on file as opportunities arise and in case any vendor spots become available.

Today’s farm adventure:

We were halfway through planting the corn maze when a bear helped himself to an entire bag of corn seed and dragged it into the woods. 🌽🐻

After following a trail of spilled corn and cutting a path through the brush with the excavator, we finally found the bag… mostly empty.

Looks like we’re not the only ones excited for the corn maze this year.

🐴 Farm health day at Meadows Family Farm!

Today our horses and donkeys had their routine vaccinations and dental exams. Keeping our animals healthy is something we take seriously, even though it’s one of the behind-the-scenes jobs most visitors never see.

A huge thank you to our Vet for helping keep our herd happy and healthy.
