🐱Facebook … We are looooong overdue for an introduction to our incredibly gorgeous Boys Pen resident, Capone!!!! He’s an orange creamsicle dream, he’s an unsung hero of KP cat shelter … This hunk is the rock in the storm for many shy cats who have crossed the doors of Katie’s Place !!!
🩵2 year old Capone has lived a rough life , as is evident by the “frowny face” he is sometimes known to don. He lived as a feral cat that was brought in to a municipal animal shelter for medical attention (and a long overdue neuter), once he was all healed he was transferred to Katie’s Place in the hopes that we would be able to find him a loving home !!
🏡Cut forward 6 months later, and Capone has done wonders for the confidence of other shy boys pen cats. We might go days/weeks barely seeing a cat… Until suddenly , we start seeing them every day (Always with Capone). They found their confidence through his guidance, and all got to a point where they were adopted out into loving homes. Most recently, his OG buddy Lennon got adopted !!!! Although Capone is still very nervous and shy himself, he lends a paw to his shelter mates who are a bit more shell shocked than him. And through this process , he furthers his own confidence every day !! He now enjoys the company of the volunteers he knows, and even allows pets from time to time!!
💕Capone has seen many of his friends go to loving homes, and now we think it’s his turn !!! Capone needs a patient and cat savvy family with no children. We have seen it happen time and time again, when these shy boys are given a shot they show a sweet and soft side you’d never even have imagined. He has a clean bill of health , uses his litter box well , now he just needs someone patient to give him a chance. A cat friend is a must for Capone as well !!!
🍊Capone doesn’t do well in the hustle bustle of open house , so feel free to reach out to book an after hours appointment for potential adopters.
