Have we ever told you about The Portal? Our cats have a shortcut of sorts, from the pantry, through what will be the en suite bathroom (formerly storage closet), into our primary bedroom. Nobody gets accidentally locked in or out of the bedroom this way.

It's also a convenient escape route when we have guests -- or it's time to give medicine. Marty is the only one who hasn't had his Advantage yet because not only does he go into The Portal, he managed to jam most of his large self into a 3.5" gap under the cabinet. (Additional photos in comments)

Thor has been pulling his fur out for a couple of months. We think it's behavioural. If we are near the kitchen he will meow until someone feeds him, and if we don't he pulls out mouthfuls of fur. Today he got some 'calming' treats and this distinguished cape.

It took Kevin about 36 hours to come out of hiding and forgive us for the vet visit.

It's been 27 hours. Currently hiding behind construction materials. Marty was in there too but he's camera shy.

The TK 4 went to the vet yesterday for checkups and vaccines. It was very traumatic and all the trust building, socializing and taming we've accomplished has pretty much been undone. Wilson is coming around but the other 3 are still in hiding.

Rounding them up and getting them into carriers was traumatic.

The vet says they're all healthy. (Obviously) And Wilson, Marty and Kevin are all overweight. (Obviously)
