Very exciting night!!! On Mother’s Day to boot - maybe he was a gift sent from heaven from my Mom for me ❤️ Here’s the story, this mare Krash is out of a mare I rode all my life growing up, I believe her dam Rusty was 3 (very broke we only had the two horses at the time) I was 8, my Dad started putting me in rodeos on her (she was honestly THAT BROKE) up till I was 18, there were a few years I jumped on some others but always ended up on her. We all loved this mares dam and all 3 of us girls at one point or another used her for all 5 rodeo events we entered. But I never got a filly off her (Rusty) well, I did get a Perfect Possibility filly but she died at 2 yrs old, I just had a gelding and I ended up selling him once he was solid because well I wanted a mare and Dad rode Krash so she was never really mine to ride. So to say I’ve been waiting for a baby off this mares dams bloodlines is an understatement. I also rode this mares sire Leroy, I was the only one who did, because we had two at the time and my Dad rode the other and Leroy was barrel racing bred, he was an unreal stud. I loved his babies and my beloved Stinker was a daughter of his too. WELL jump forward to TODAY, and we were blessed with a beautiful (will be grey) filly. Her sire is my young 4yr old stud Juice by As Good As Nick Gets and another mare who stole my heart, Jan. So this boy has some giant size shoes to fill because all the genetics in this pedigree are pretty dang talented and special. But I think he’s gonna bring all those years of breeding together for us. I can’t wait for the day this boy gets to run barrels 💕 now to think of a good name fit for something so special!!!!
