It has been a very busy weekend for us and the flock. We enjoyed lots of visitors, a few new arrivals, and a new connection with an international shipper. Unfortunately, there are lots of aviaries shutting down out west, so we will be getting regular bird shipments for the next few months to help with the overflow. The next bird flight comes in on Tuesday night, carrying spice finches, turquoise kakariki and rubino bourkes. 😍 (Google pic of bourkes)
