It's been a little hectic....we hosted two weddings - one in September and one on the Thanksgiving weekend... We've definitely fallen a bit behind as we go the extra Extra for events like these especially when it's family...Your patience is appreciated. Today Kristal and Raven dewormed all the horses while Viki and Lisette looked after a youth group with brushing horses and entertaining them with the petting zoo. Divide and conquer we say, and a massive task in the books.

Older Experienced horses teach new riders, older experienced riders teach new horses.

You have to learn to walk before you can run.

We respect our horses, treat them with love and kindness. They will always come first

Always some kind of horse care to do...This week Viki is busy cleaning sheaths for the geldings...not a complete pleasure but it needs to be done... geldings get "beans" a waxy buildup that can hinder the urination. We normally do it once a year. This week 8 of 20 are complete.

Last day at Batoche. It's been a very busy four days. We thank everyone who has helped out, from set up and takedown, hauling animals, lending a horse trailer...we really appreciate it. To all the people we have seen and met thank you for stopping by our set up.
